Jennifer Vermeulen is a facilitator and coach offering legal information and support during challenging life transitions. She relies on strategies that have produced positive results in a variety of situations. She has successfully navigated her own challenging life transitions, including separation and divorce. Exiting her marriage was not an easy decision for her. First and foremost, she advocates for marriages staying together, when possible. Coach Jennifer recognizes that each family situation is unique and she respects and supports the beliefs and choices that are right for you and your family.
She provides legal information, assists you with organizing and preparing your evidence and saves you money on your lawyer fees. Whatever details you and the opposing side may agree on, it is important to have all documents reviewed and finalized with a lawyer qualified to practice in British Columbia. In some cases, it is necessary to have your agreement vetted in the court by a judge. Jennifer encourages parents facing the possibility of Supreme Court to attempt fair resolutions through mediation, when possible. In situations where there is an imbalance of power, mediation can be impractical as excessive resources can be spent on a process that ultimately requires a Judge or Master to resolve. The New Leaf Process invites you on a journey of faith where possibilities have a higher probability WHEN you believe AND you take ACTION toward what you say is important to you.
